At Alissa Mick Nutrition, my philosophy is rooted in empowering individuals through evidence-based, personalized guidance that supports performance, recovery, and a healthy relationship with food. I work with performance- and recovery-focused individuals—including athletes, fitness enthusiasts, active professionals, tactical athletes (such as first responders), and those recovering from surgery—to create tailored nutrition strategies that align with their specific goals and lifestyles.
Whether you’re training for a competition, recovering from surgery, or simply striving to feel stronger and more energized in your daily life, your unique experiences and objectives are always at the center of our work together. My focus is on helping you build confidence, consistency, and sustainable habits that support long-term health and well-being.
Alissa is a licensed and registered dietitian who earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Sensory Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a minor in Kinesiology from Kansas State University.
Outside of her work, Alissa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband—whether they’re biking, camping, hiking, playing disc golf, snowboarding, or just watching a good sunset. She also loves cooking and creating new recipes in the kitchen. These personal passions fuel her love for nutrition and deepen her appreciation for the role food plays in living an active, balanced life. Through this blend of professional expertise and lived experience, Alissa brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to each client she works with—meeting them where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be.
