Stormy is a Manhattan, Kansas native who, apart from a brief period elsewhere, where she found she missed the Flint Hills, has lived here most of her life. Being the daughter of two educators, reading has always been an important part of her life and when the opportunity to own her own bookstore presented itself, she grabbed it. She has run Claflin Books for 25 years now and continues to promote literacy in the community.
